We are delighted to offer homeowners at Fawn Run the opportunity to bring your own architect and builder to craft a truly custom home that is unique as you are, yet maintains the integrity of the community and our vision for a master planned development connected by nature.

Our Development Guidelines are in place to maintain the high value of Fawn Run at The Ponds and to ensure the continuity of excellence in our community. We work with you, your architect, and your builder to meets your unique needs within our guidelines.

Homes at Fawn Run at The Ponds fall within five Architectural Styles: Arts and Crafts Style, Okanagan Modern, Cottage Revival, Modern Farmhouse, and Mediterranean.

Arts and Crafts Style Homes

These Craftsman homes include predominant features such as low-pitched roofs with exposed rafters and timer brackets, large wrap-around porches with large columns, irregular windows, large window surrounds, and stained glass ornamentation with artistic trims and mouldings. You will often find these homes with wood siding, rustic stucco, or wall shingles with stone detailing.

Okanagan Modern Homes

A blend of Art Modern and International style, Okanagan Modern homes have a sleek, streamlined appearance. This style incorporates horizontal orientation with projecting eyebrows and cantilevers. The predominant features of these homes include wrap-around windows and cube-like massing with the suggestion of speed or movement. You will often see the use of metal and glass in these homes.

Cottage Revival Homes

Tudor revival style homes with a storybook cottage look often include features such as Tudor gable treatments with shakes and timber finishes, asymmetrical design with vertically oriented casement windows, and steep roofs interrupted with dormers creating irregularly shaped rooms with sloping walls in the upper floors. They often have a prominent chimney feature, detailed porches, and stone with wrought iron detailing.

Modern Farmhouse
