Public Consultation 2023

We are pleased to present the final phase of development approvals for the Fawn Run neighbourhood in the form of Phase 7C. This phase proposes 27 single Family lots in the area between the new section of Steele Road and Fawn Run Drive and generally south of the storm water detention pond. See attached plans.

Rezoning and Development Permit applications have been made to the City and can be found on the Development Application tool on the City Website (www.kelowna.ca/homes-building/property-development/current-development-applications ). File reference numbers are Z23-0020 and DP23-0070.

This phase is consistent with the Area Structure plan and the current Official Community Plan. Mair Developments Ltd. will continue to enforce design guidelines similar to previous phases in order to maintain the high quality of both home and landscape design. Site grading has been designed to minimize the impact of these new lots to previous phases. Access to adjacent Mair Pond Park and Open space is provided by a new walkway off of Road D and will be linked to a new trail system being constructed as part of Phases 7A and 7B. Furthermore, a new neighbourhood park is planned for Phase 7A.

The schedule for development of this phase is for grading and civil construction to commence in the spring of 2024. We anticipate completing the civil construction and lot registration before the end of 2024.  It should be noted that grading of lots 1-5 on Road D may occur earlier as this material will be moved to Phase 7B to complete the grading there.
